Let The Good Times Roll

Written by: Hurricane Brassband

The CD of the Hurricane Brassband is for sale.
In April 2003 we made the recordings of LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL in the Sound Service recording studio in New Orleans. Bob French of WWOZ radio made the first contacts and with the help of two other dear friends,
mr Benny Jones sr. leader of the Treme Brass Band and Roger Lewis of the Dirty Dozen, we could make this CD. It was on one of the last days visiting the Crescent City and just a few hours before playing a gig at Fritzel’s. Everything had to be done quickly and maybe that’s the reason the music on this CD sounds so fresh.

The 12 songs on it are a mixture of classical brass band tunes and some with a more modern rhythm, but still it is traditional brass band music.

This CD will give you a nice piece of jazz music. Brassband music with that typical New Orleans rhythm.
